About

As a holistic health professional, I have over ten years of experience in holistic health and consider myself a life-long learner. I have studied the works of teachers such as holistic counselor Orisha Oshun, Dr. Afrika, Queen Afua, and have trained under spiritual teachers utilizing various holistic healing methods.
My field of study includes a Master of Science in Education (M.S.ED) and graduate coursework in applied behavior analysis. My background also encompasses herbalism, special educator, homeschool mom, and advocacy for special needs caregivers and children with autoimmune conditions and autism spectrum disorders.
Through my lived experiences, world-travels, connectedness to ancestral knowledge, and plant medicine, I found great peace in stillness, meditation, and living my soul purpose. Having faced debilitating chronic health issues, like many special needs caregivers of children or adults with disabilities or medically complex conditions, I put my health and wellness aside.
Managing constant chronic stress with being a special needs parent of a child on the autism spectrum also diagnosed with Lyme, co-infections, and autoimmune encephalitis (PANDAS) with my neurotypical child, and life responsibilities were often challenging. So, I decided to prioritize my health, change my diet, and incorporate exercise.
Those methods were helpful, but with the constant chronic stress, my health began to decline again, which led me to address root causes and take an approach targeting spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Incorporating a lifestyle that targets the whole person brought great healing that I never imagined and an understanding of the importance of standing in your truth and using your voice.
With love for nature, exercise, herbalism, soul expression, and mindful living, I believe it is your birthright to live in an abundance of love, joy, peace, happiness, wealth, and freedom.
with love ~ Sharlena Michelle
